Brian Hazleman Research Fellowship

Dr Brian Hazleman will retire this summer following over 20 years’ contribution to clinical and research Rheumatology in Cambridge. Brian has inspired and mentored many young Rheumatologists as well as establishing the clinical Rheumatology Research Unit, founding Care and publishing countless books and papers! Care plans to recognise Brian’s pivotal role in Cambridge Rheumatology by establishing the Brian Hazleman Research Fellowship to support talented young scientists engaged in Rheumatology-related research. Please support us and share any ideas for fundraising,

Star Fundraisers

Chief Physician’s assistant, Lucy Woor organised a wonderful 1940s-theme WWII dance. In total, they raised an amazing £1,000, £480 of which was donated to CARE for lupus research.
Dennis and Margaret Parr have raised a total of £31,197 for Care over an incredible 20 year period of fundraising. Congratulations and enjoy your forthcoming retirement!
Our thanks also to the Lions Club, who raised £1,100 for us in 2005 and to everyone else who has donated or raised funds. Thanks also to those who have helped doctors and students with teaching, final examinations and with the preparation of webpages.
